KOHERAS BASIK (TM) is a single frequency, low noise Distributed Feedback (DFB) fiber laser system in a rugged package with passive vibration isolation. It is designed for OEM integration into advanced sensor interrogation systems for e.g. oil exploration and submarine detection, as well as other interferemetric applications such as perimeter detection. The module is designed as a building block for either single wavelength systems or multi-wavelength DWDM systems.
