Strain Sensor

Alxenses's strain sensor makes use of the inherent strain sensitivity of an FBG. The FBG is fixed or prestrained inside a housing between two anchoring points. Each package is terminated with an optical connector. The sensor can be employed for concrete health monitoring, strain monitoring in composite structures, strain monitoring on reinforcement steel bars, vibration monitoring.
