Designed for permanent monitoring applications, Sabeus MPT fiber optic distributed temperature sensing array thermal profiling systems provide real time distributed temperature readings up to 250°C at up to 150 discrete points along the fiber length.
Each system is made up of two principal elements:
a) The topside Surface Readout Unit (SRU) which includes the lasers, computers, software, various power options, communications modules, cabling and field enclosures; and
b) The downhole fiberoptic sensor cable built to various specifications depending on the operating temperatures inside the well, and how many fibers are used in the system.
System provides:
- up to 150 temperature Sensor Points on a single piece of fiber
- thermal profile along fiber length to 250°C with + 2°C Accuracy and 0.1°C Resolution
- FBG temperature sensors may be equi-spaced or in custom locations as specified by the customer.
