Safibra, distributor of Neoptix Inc., Canada, presents the Reflex - a multichannel signal conditioner for fibre optic temperature measurement in industrial and laboratory applications.
The system is based on the proven GaAs technology. An original algorithm is used to analyze the signal and provide repeatable and reproducible measurements. The Reflex is easy to interface to an existing system via its analog output or its RS-232 communication interface. When used with the optional NeoLink software, the Reflex becomes an indispensable laboratory instrument.
Its accuracy (±0.8°C) and high sensitivity to temperature changes, and wide tempareture range (-80 to 300°C), make it a natural choice for a wide variety of applications. Moreover, the Neoptix sensors are interchangeable and no calibration or inconvenient gage factors are required when changing sensors. The probe 's immunity to electromagnetic interference and harsh environments makes it very advantageous compared to traditional sensors.
The rugged, splash-proof enclosure is designed to withstand the most punishing industrial environments. For industrial needs, Reflex units can be installed together on a special 19 in. rack-mounted plates. For special applications, like transformer hot spot monitoring, Safibra can offer you more instruments from Neoptix, like T/Guard, or portable Nomad, or multichannel Omniflex.
