The Deminsys system from Technobis Fibre Technologies is the world’s first high speed multichannel / multi sensor interrogator with a maximum sampling frequency of 19,3 kHz per sensor.
Deminsys, identifies four channels of FBG’s with typically 8 sensors per channel. The standard system uses 850 nm wavelength for 8 sensors per fibre with a spectral spacing of 4 nm. A trade-off between the number of FBG’s per fibre, sample frequency or the dynamic range gives the customer a more flexible interrogator.
