First Call for Papers

WSOF 2010 is a technical workshop and exhibit intended to report on the latest advances and innovations in specialty optical fibers, its applications and associated devices; and serve as a discussion forum by bringing together researchers, academics, manufacturers and students working in the field. Abstracts are solicited, but not limited, to the following topics:

• Design and Fabrication of Microstructure and PCFs
• Specialty Fibers for High Power Fiber Lasers
• Polymer and Non-silica Glass Fibers
• Sensors and Sensing Applications
• Components and Devices
• Nonlinear Fibers and Communication Applications
• Modeling and Simulation

Abstract submissions

Abstract submissions will be handled and processed by SPIE.  A 4-page paper manuscript and copyright agreement form must be submitted electronically -on or before April 15, 2010 - to MySPIE website: <http://myspie.org/submission/index.cfm?fuseaction=act_AbstractInit&EventId=920860>.
