Fiber Sensor & Supercontinuum Group

I'm heading the Fiber Sensors & Supercontinuum Group at DTU Fotonik, the Department of Photonics Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark. We have a draw tower to draw polymer and soft glass photonic crystal fibers (PCFs), facilities to drill our own polymer PCF preforms, UV Bragg grating writing facilities for 850nm and 1550nm, millijoule laser pumping a TOPAS, and several 1064nm picosecond lasers. We work on fabricating polymer and soft glass PCFs and use them in sensing and nonlinear fiber optics applications, such as supercontinuum generation and pulse compression. In addition we so moddelling of fiber properies and of nonlinear pulse propagation.
